Penelope Ann Adams

ADAMS, Penelope Ann, Age 78, November 8th, 2014 of Rochester Hills, Michigan. Loving mother of Michael Corcoran (Kathy) Pritchard, Melissa Ann Pritchard, Lee Adams Pritchard and John Eddy (Joel Anderson) Pritchard, proud grandmother of Daniel Bennett, Lauren Bennett, James Pritchard, Sophia Bernazani, John “Jack” Bernazani, and Sam Pritchard, and life-long friend of Peter Eddy Pritchard. Penelope was born in New York City to Helen Elizabeth Adams (Nee Corcoran) and William Douglas Adams. Penny grew up on City Island, The Bronx, New York and attended Hunter College High School. She also lived in Panama, Venezuela, and Columbia. Penny attended the University of Michigan (Alpha Phi Sorority) in Ann Arbor, and spent the majority of her adult life in Michigan. In 1957 on August 31st she married Peter Eddy Pritchard. Penelope worked many years at the Michigan State Capital for Senator Joe Conroy, contributed to the Boarshead Theatre in Lansing and worked for the Walt Disney Company in Los Angeles, CA. Penelope was also active in the Rochester Area Democratic Club. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. www.pixleyfuneral.com
