Patricia Nelson of Shelby Twp., MI left us to be with the Lord on April 15, 2019. After remarkably surviving anaplastic thyroid cancer for over 6 years, she passed from stroke complications. She was born in 1940 to Michael and Josephine Sebell in Republic, PA. Pat graduated from Pershing High School and had a long career in the U.S. Postal Service. She was a devout member of River of God Church and donated her time to many of their community activities and charity events. Going to the casino and playing cards with her good friend, Loretta, was a favorite pastime. Pat was a dedicated Mother who treasured her children and embraced every single moment with them. She adored her precious grandchildren, Alex and Sophie. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Jamie Dombrowski, and son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Melissa Vecchi and son, Brian Woytalewicz. Patricia is survived by her one sister, Nancy (Sebell) Jasinowski, and 5 brothers: Bernard, Donald, Stanley, Leonard and David Sebell. Pat made friends everywhere she went and was admired by all who knew her. The Memorial / Celebration of Life will take place on May 5 at 2:00 p.m. at The River of God Church, 230 E St Clair St, Romeo, MI 48065 – with luncheon at approx. 2:30 p.m.
