Nancy was born on November 29, 1949 and grew up in Royal Oak. She graduated from Dondero High School in 1967 and attended Ferris State University. While employed at Weir-Manuel Real Estate in Birmingham, Nancy met and eventually married Bob Webber in 1971.
In 1974, Nancy and Bob moved to Culver City, California. While in Culver City, Nancy had been employed with Transamerica, Coreliss Realty, and eventually joined the Bank of Beverly Hills, where she worked in the escrow division. She was the president of the P.T.A. and became very active in the Culver City Educational Foundation. In 1990 the family moved back to Michigan, settling in Rochester Hills. Nancy became involved in the P.T.A. at both Van Hoosen Middle School & Adams High School, where she organized the Senior All-Night events. She was also active with her home parish, St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, and taught CCD at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church. Nancy was always active in her community and also served as the Campaign Treasurer for her son Mike’s campaign for city council. She had worked at LeConte then later became an independent escrow agent for Chrysler Motors.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bob Webber; sons Matt Webber and Mike (Julia) Webber; and grandson James, whom she adored and loved to spend time with. Nancy is also survived by her brothers Mike (Suzanne) Browe and Pat (Anna Jasper) Browe and sister in law Becky Browe, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Tim Webber, a brother David Browe, sister Gail Bilitzke and her husband Michael.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive in Rochester.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023, 12 noon at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Avenue, Rochester. Fr. Joseph Horn officiating. Visitation begins at 11:30 a.m.
Inurnment at Van Hoosen Jones – Stoney Creek Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester and will be directed to charities that were important to Nancy.
