Nancy Noonan

NOONAN, Nancy M., 85, of Oakland Twp., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 30, 2016. She was born May 3, 1931 to the late Walter and Naida Sakalo. She loved her many years spent in Bonita Springs, Florida golfing, beach combing and spending time with family and friends. Her love for travel took her all over the world, and Nan enjoyed days spent shopping, caring for animals and doing crossword puzzles. Wife of the late Kevin G. Noonan; loving mother of Michael K. Noonan and the late Kathryn “Kate” Noonan; grandmother of Haley Noonan, Kelsey Noonan and Kendal Noonan; and great-grandmother of Lily Noonan; and sister of Joyce (Jim) VanDelinder, Walter (Carol) Sakalo, Susan (Tom) Pilutti and the late Danny Sakalo. She also shared a special relationship with Karen Noonan. She will leave a void in the lives of many. Donations may be made in Nancy’s name to your local dog rescue.
