Murland "Murry" Pearsall

PEARSALL, Murland Bonney,“Murry”, age 95, of Rochester, June 29, 2013; husband of Mary Jane Pearsall for 65 years; father of Brian W. Pearsall, Bradley J. Pearsall, Brenda (Jim) Silverman and the late Bonnie K. Smith; grandfather of Michael C. (Nicole) Smith; great-grandfather of Joseph C. Smith; brother of Virginia (Tom) Madden; uncle of Sueann (Bill) Pinho, Paula (Ken) Mage, Douglas (Linda) Madden and Jim Pearsall. Murry was a WWII veteran, Big Band drummer, avid golfer, pilot, enjoyed playing horse shoes. He had a great sense of humor; loved to laugh; worked for Detroit Edison for 40 years and retired at the age of 70. Volunteered with the Rochester Lions Club and was a member of the First Congregational Church for many years. Memorial gathering Saturday, July 20, 2013, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. with memorial service at 10:30 a.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester.
