Michael was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 21, 1964.
Michael graduated from Adlai Stevenson High School. He received a diploma from Michigan Institute of Technology. Michael was certified and licensed as HVAC installer and repair. He was certified by Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). Michael had a long career in machine concept and building, machine repair and assembly. Michael was a Dale Carnegie graduate in public speaking.
Michael worked in machine design and concept, hands on fabrication for Unique Fabricating, Costello Machine Company, AAH FluidPower of Chesterfield, and Advanced Boring and Tool Company.
Michael’s biggest passion was being near the water and fishing. He loved family gatherings and home cooked meals.
Michael is survived by his parents, Leonard and Connie Kane; his daughter, Erica (Corey) Boulas; his only granddaughter, Audrey Boulas; his sisters, Debora Lynn Kane, Lorrie Ann (James) Mercier, Cheryl Rene (Jason) Rapp; his brother, Paul Matthew (Jillian) Kane; his 11 nieces and nephews along with his 6 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were held at 11:30 AM on July 17, 2020 at Pixley Funeral Home. Pastor Marc Schwichtenberg, from St. John Lutheran Church officiated.
