Mary Louise Risko

Mary Louise Risko, age 90, of Shelby Township, Michigan passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024. Mary was born in Rapid City, South Dakota to Edward and Mary Warn. She was a proud graduate of Cathedral High School and lived her life with the strong Catholic foundation she was raised with. She married her beloved husband Robert Risko on June 7th, 1952, whom she is now reunited with. Mary worked as a bank teller for MBD, now known as Chase Bank, before focusing her efforts on raising her children. Traveling brought her great joy, she and her husband loved camping and spent time in all 48 lower states. When back at home she enjoyed playing Euchre with her friends once a month, bowling with her league, reading classy romance novels, taking walks in downtown Rochester, and taking care of her beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her children Michael (Rose) Risko, Edward (Sharon) Risko, David (Elizabeth) Risko, and Diane Kadrich; grandchildren Nick, Adam, Katie, Alan, Rachel, Robert, and Andrew; great grandchildren Madison, McKenzie, Cadien, Eddie, Anne, and Charlotte; and brother Edward Warn.

She is predeceased by her husband Robert; son James Risko; and siblings James, Anna, Bob, Ellen, Agnes, Vincent, and Joan.

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
