Mark was born the son of Thomas and Lois (Kent) Sayers in Lapeer, Michigan on April 15, 1980. He graduated from Sterling Heights High School, class of 1998, and attended Specs Howard School of Media Arts and earned his bachelor’s degree from Rochester Christian College. Mark had a career in sales. He was a member of Faith Community Christian Church.
Mark loved his son Isaiah and his family. He was a huge Detroit Pistons fan and enjoyed the Lions and Tigers as well. Mark was interested in music and politics. He laughed at the Simpsons and WWF wrestling.
Mark is survived by his son Isaiah Sayers; mother Lois Sayers; siblings John Sayers, Jill (Kelly) Windelspecht, and Luke (May) Sayers; nieces Chloe Sayers and Annaliese Damm; nephews Evan Sayers, Alex Damm and Corey Windelspecht; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mark was predeceased by his father Reverend Thomas Sayers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 10am until the time of the funeral service at noon at Pixley Funeral Home located at 322 West University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan.
