Marion was preceded in death by her loving husband John, her parents, and her brothers Richard and Robert Dew, sisters-in-law June Dew and Isobel Marvin, and brother-in-law Erich Gensley.
She is survived by her children Maureen (Mike) Mancini, John (Dianne) Mathieson, Laura (Randy) Witherspoon, Eric (Claire) Mathieson, and Julie (James) Beckwell; 8 Grandchildren Kim (John), John, Andrew (Kristie), Bryan (Carly), Lauren, Emily, Jane, and Jillian; 3 Great-grandchildren Elliot, Isla, and Ian; sister Shirley Gensley, sister-in-law Betty Dew, brother-in-law Eugene Marvin, and 8 nieces and nephews.
Marion was passionate about sewing, quilting, embroidery and the Detroit Lions and Tigers. She was a voracious reader. She lived in Rochester for many years, and enjoyed living in Alger and Gladwin, Michigan with her beloved husband John during retirement.

A visitation for Marion will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Mt. Avon Cemetery,Rochester.
