Linda was born the daughter of William and Phyllis (Chalou) Gagnon in Detroit, Michigan on November 4th, 1945. Linda graduated from St. Frances Cabrini Catholic High School in Allen Park, Michigan, class of 1964. She married James Palko on July 13, 1968 in Detroit. Linda worked for PNC Bank in Orion Township for many years, retiring in 2003. She then worked at the Oakland County Health Department until this year.
Linda loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and spending time at her favorite place up north.
Linda is survived by her husband James Palko; her daughter Kimberly (Timothy) Reuter and son-in-law Darin Dishman; grandchildren Alexander Palko, Hannah Reuter, Collin Dishman, Devon Dishman, Travis Dishman, and Emily Dishman; sibings Larry (Nancy) Gagnon and Richard (Kimberly) Gagnon; sister in law Tina Gagnon and many nieces and nephews. Linda is predeceased by her parents; brother Gregory Gagnon; son Alexander Palko; and daughter Jacqueline Dishman.
A private sharing of memories service will be held for Linda. Entombment will be at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
A celebration of life will be scheduled in the summer of 2024 so that family and friends can get together to share all of our many wonderful memories of Linda. Date and location yet to be determined and will be shared when known.
Memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
