

Kenneth was born in Detroit, Michigan, on July 26th, 1958. He graduated from North Farmington High School and went on to receive a PhD from the University of Notre Dame.
On December 28, 1982, Kenneth married Karen Flatley.
He had worked as a Senior Research Engineer for General Motors for 24 years, and then founded Car Technologies battery testing lab out of the Ohio State University.
He and his wife were founding members of St Mary of the Hills Roman Catholic Church in Rochester Hills, and also become a part of the family at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church. Kenneth had a great love for his family, a passion for music, philanthropy, and lifelong learning.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, and five children Anna (Ted) Schultz, Rachel (David) Hartfield, Sarah Dudek, Jessica Dudek, Mary Dudek, and seven grandchildren, Luke Marchese, Noah Marchese, Faith Schultz, Casey Schultz, Beatrice Hartfield, Christine Hartfield, and another grandson on the way. He is also survived by his mother, Sylvia Dudek, and siblings Deanna (Mark) McClain and Kurt (Hope) Dudek.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Frank Dudek, a sister Dawn Dudek and a brother,
Kevin Dudek.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 30th, at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Beverly Hills. Fr. James Smalarz officiating. Kenneth will lie in state at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre in Southfield.
The Family will receive friends Sunday, October 29th, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive in Rochester.
