KATHLEEN GEORGIA HADDEN, age 81, of Leonard, died Thursday, December 23, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Allen Hadden; daughters Susan (Norman) McCreary and Barbara (Martin) Rossman; grandchildren Joshua McCreary, Michael (Brittany) Mroz, and Jonathan Mroz. Preceded in death by her daughter Judith Hadden, and grandparents Charles and Hazel (King) Ramus.
Kathleen was born on December 28, 1939, in Detroit. She graduated from Utica High School in 1958 and married Allen Hadden on November 1, 1958. She had worked as a Paraprofessional for the Rochester School District for 8 years and then worked for K-Mart for 19 years until her retirement. Kathleen enjoyed hand-making quilts and loved her house pets, especially her cats. She also enjoyed shopping at Mitzelfeld’s and Jacobson’s, but most enjoyed being with her family.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment at Christian Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Michigan Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
