Born May 28th, 1937 to Emily and Ervin Applegate in New Haven, Connecticut, moved to Arlington, Virginia in 1960 where she was married and began raising her family. In 2000, she retired and moved to Melbourne, Florida.
She was preceded in death by daughter Kelly Ann McMillan (1975), husband John English McMillan Jr. (2000) and grandson James Edward McMillan Jr. (2006).
Surviving are sons: John E. McMillan III, James E. McMillan Sr. and Kristopher M. McMillan, grandson Mark McMillan, granddaughters Shawnna Pervis and Cindy Carles, great grandsons Shawn, Xander, Logan, and great granddaughters Brianna and Fallon.
Sister Joyce Reis El Bara, and niece Debbie Plotkin, nephew Timothy Reis El Bara, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 11 AM - 1 PM, at Pixley Funeral Home Rochester, Michigan. A Private Memorial Service will be held for the immediate family at 1 PM, a livestream of the service will be available by clicking the link below under services. Interment will be at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, Virginia at a later date.
