Joyce Ann Lietzke, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, formerly of Toledo Ohio, sadly passed away in her sleep on Tuesday April 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Her final moments were spent with family and her beloved Granddogs.
She was born in Marion, Ohio on August 30, 1939 to Lester and Hazel (Ames) Carey. She graduated from Marion Harding High School, class of 1957. On March 14, 1964, in Toledo Ohio, she married the love of her life, Jack E. Lietzke. They raised their family first in Toledo and later in Adrian, Michigan.

In earlier years, she enjoyed card nights, bowling leagues, gardening, and boating at Devil’s Lake Yacht Club. She loved crafts both collecting and creating them, and was an avid collector of thimbles, Charlie Bears and Annalee dolls. She relished the family gatherings through the years and provided years of delicious home-cooked meals.
Joyce is survived by her children Jeff Lietzke, Pam (Mike) Schlegel, and Jennifer (Dan) Watson; grandchildren Jessica (Pat) McCarthy, James (Asia) Schlegel, Mia Schlegel, Zack Watson, and Josh Watson; great-grandchildren Liam and Declan McCarthy.
