Jack was born the son of John and Dorothy (Packard) Robinson on July 6, 1944 in Pontiac, Michigan. Jack graduated from high school class of 1962. He joined the US Army in 1963 and became a medic. He served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam for which he received a Purple Heart. He was discharged in 1969. Jack held many jobs in his life including truck driver to handyman. Jack had a passion for friends, family, his cats, and the many squirrels he has befriended. He was a dedicated University of Michigan fan until the end.
Jack is survived by his children Jacqueline Miller, Kelley Williams, Heather Grace, John Robinson III, grandchildren Damon Patterson, Erich Miller, Karl Miller, and great grand child Valerie Vazquez. He is also survived by his siblings Barbara McDonald, Judy Avalone, Thomas (Cathy) Robinson, Patricia West, Sharon Robinson and Candy Miller. He was preceded in death by brother Robert Robinson.
Jack will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan
