John C. McCloskey of North Fort Myers, FL. passed away August 24, 2015. He was born in Detroit, MI. on August 23, 1941. John graduated from Lincoln High School. He was married to Nancy A. McGinnis on June 8, 1985. John had a career in carpet installation for Hessler Carpet. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He was survived by his children Teresa, Robert, Lawrence (Ivana), Sharon (John), Susan (Bob), Richard, and predeceased by his son David. He was also survived by his grandchildren Nicole, Christopher, Christina, Amanda, Andrew, Nicholas, Sarah, Ryan, Lauren, Taylor, Robbie, Dylan, Joshua, and Aubree; along with his great grandchildren Myles, Kayla, and Elizabeth. Private services to be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations suggested to The American Heart and Stroke Association.
