It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of JoAnn Juhl, 89, on August 24, 2022, at her home in Rochester Hills, MI. She grew up in Albion, PA and met the love of her life for 69 years, Roy Juhl, at a church camp. She was an avid reader and could carry on a conversation with anybody about anything; from sports to finance to travel to political issues and everything in-between. JoAnn always aspired to be an author and published 2 devotional books. As longtime members of St. John Lutheran church she was a former President of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and longtime member of the Hannah Circle. Her pride and joy always centered on faith and family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roy; brother Roy (Sandy) Greenlee, daughter Cathy (Dennis) Evans, sons David and John and daughter-in-law Erika. Son, Dan preceded in death. Grandchildren, Jennifer Evans, Doug (Megan) Evans, Rob (Kelly) Evans, Melanie Evans, Brian Juhl, Taylor Juhl, Sara (Jeremy) Myrick. Great grandchildren Everleigh, Elaina, Jemma, Corbin, Chloe and Ayden.
A visitation for JoAnn will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, followed by a funeral at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John Lutheran Church Foundation.
