Joan (LaFerle) Stewart, age 89, of Rochester Hills, passed away on February 27, 2022. She was born in East Lansing on August 31, 1932. Joan was married to Glen LaFerle and George Stewart. She worked in the medical field, working for Beaumont Hospital.
Joan is survived by her son, Michael (Pat) LaFerle; her stepsons, Steve Stewart, John (Pam) Stewart, George Stewart, and Don (Nancy) Stewart; her grandchildren, Nicole (Jeremy) Chaffin, Christine Zabloki, Trever (Loren) Zabloki, Jordan Lewis, Ryder Lewis, Jacob Lewis, Ryan Stewart, Nick Stewart, George Stewart, and Jennete Stewart; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Chaffin, Emmett Chaffin, Braxton Zabloki, and Harlow Zabloki. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Gladys Cain; her brother, Arnold Cain; her husbands, Glen LaFerle and George Stewart; her daughters, Pam (Ted) Zabloki and Cindy (Jon) Lewis; and her grandson, Shawn LaFerle.
