RAYMO, James G. Age 92, June 20th, 2011. Born in Detroit Michigan on November 2, 1918. Husband of the late Margaret (Nee Webb,) son of the late Charles and Nora (Nee Clifford.) Mr. Raymo served in the Naval Reserves and Merchant Marines in WWII. He was the President of the Charles H. Raymo & Sons Industrial Sheet Metal and Roofing in Detroit. Mr. Raymo also was a volunteer with the Goodfellows of Southfield and was a PER of Elk’s Lodge #34 in Detroit. Mr. Raymo retired and relocated to Traverse City in 1984 and volunteered with the Commission on Aging and the Grand Traverse Library for the Blind. He was preceded in death by his Wife Margaret, Son Joseph Lee , Grandson Jeffrey Spaulding, Brother Robert and Sister Elizabeth. Mr. Raymo is survived by his children, Joy Spaulding of Santa Fe, NM, Veronica Oliver of Rochester Hills, James Raymo Jr. of New Hudson, Patrick Raymo, Lisa Raymo of Traverse City and Rebecca Murad of New Orleans, LA. He is also survived by his sisters Helen Broxholm, Angela Raymo and Geraldine Raymo. Eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for James and his wife Margaret on Saturday June 25th, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Ave, Rochester, MI 48307.
