Gary Lee Putman

Parents Leon and Mildred (Caldwell) Putman. Entered eternal life July 6, 2022 in Pontiac, Michigan.

Gary graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1961. He went to service his country in the Air Force from 1961 to 1965.

After the Air Force, Gary worked diligently as a splicing technician for Michigan Bell/ ATT for 30 years.

Gary belonged to several Masonic lodges where his life's work and experiences really shined through as a Mason. Gary was a devoted brother to countless Masons. He dedicated his life to his Masonic family, he was an amazing mentor too.

Gary loved to watch football, Nascar, NCIS and American Car show.

Gary loved to take the fishing boat out, cast a lure into the lake, snag a few big ones for a good story.

Devoted husband to Sandra ( Craft) Putman. Father to Donna Menyhart ( Tom Roos.) Bonus Dad to Andrew Tasca (Kim) and Denise Tasca-Tomkinson (Tom Tomkinson). Brother to Carol Samson (Late John Samson). Grandpa to Alek M. Montana T., Arlee T., Wyatt T., and Hayden T. Gary was proceed in death by his parents, grandparents, his late son Stephen Putman, and his life long friend Rick Cummings.

Gary was a life long friend to Cindy Cummings and several others.

He left a legacy within the people he touched throughout his life. His loss will be deeply felt by many as he was an influential figure in many lives.

Cremation has taken place.

A Masonic Memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting monetary donations for the memorial service to come.
