STROTHER, Everette Glenn, 91, of Royal Oak, MI, departed this life to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. He was born near Batesville, Arkansas on June 15, 1924, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Yvonne Gardner Strother. He is survived by his daughter Candace Lee Strother, son Eric Grant Strother (Kristin), and son Cortney Blake Strother. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 4. The funeral service be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 5. All services will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 West University Drive, Rochester, MI 48307. Interment will follow at VanHoosen Jones-Stoney Creek Cemetery, 570 East Tienken Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48306.
