Eleanor Lorraine Hill

HILL, Eleanor Lorraine, age 89, of Rochester, formerly of Sterling Heights, December 8, 2011; Eleanor was born to Herbert and Marion Steer in Walden, New York 1922; after raising 8 children and many hours of volunteer work for her church and community; she worked for ten years at the Utica Community Schools Adult Education teaching cooking; she is survived by her loving husband, Frederick B. Hill Sr.; children, Robert (Lynne) Hill, Laurie Hill, Margaret Hill, Thomas (Michelle) Hill, Daniel (Natalie) Hill, Frederick (Diana) Hill and Edward Hill and the late Suzanne Hill (John Paval); also survived by 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sister of the late Donald and James Steer; Funeral Mass Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. (in-state at 10:00 a.m.) St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood St., Rochester with Rev. Jack Baker officiating; Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Lighthouse of Oakland County, 46156 Woodward Ave, Pontiac, MI 48342.
