Born on October 5, 1984, in Rochester Hills, Michigan, Bryan was the beloved son of Dale Engelhardt and Vicki Smith. He graduated from Lutheran High Northwest in 2002 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Political Science from Oakland University in 2009. Bryan united in marriage with Kimberly Stashuk on April 26, 2019, at St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester. Throughout his career, Bryan dedicated his talents to Domino’s Pizza and, more recently, Papa John’s.
Bryan had a passion for grilling and smoking the Thanksgiving turkey, a tradition he delighted in sharing with his family each year. He found joy in playing golf with friends and cheering on Tiger’s baseball. An aficionado of old cinematic movies and world history documentaries, Bryan cherished leisurely autumn road trips with Kimberly, exploring the wine trails of Traverse City.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Kimberly Engelhardt; loving mother, Vicki Smith; dear brother, Brent Engelhardt; goddaughter, Abigail Medore; best friend, Dave Anderson; and his cherished cats, Odin and Freyja. Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Dale Engelhardt.
A memorial service in celebration of Bryan's life will be held at St. John Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 11th, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. and the service at 11 a.m. Further details will be announced on Bryan’s memorial site at www.dignitymemorial.com.
