Beverly Goetz

GOETZ, Beverly Jeane, age 76 , of Rochester, Michigan, died peacefully July 2, 2017, with her family and friends at her side. She was born on August 20, 1940, in Detroit. Loving mother of Marcie (James) Russell and Christine Goetz. Beloved grandmother of Christina, Lindsey, Katelyn, Brittany, Brandon and Erik. Best friend of Carol Brown. Preceded in death by her husband Wayne Goetz in 2014. Beverly attended High School at the Nazareth Academy in Kalamazoo, Attended Wayne State, and later graduated from the Deaconess School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She had worked at the Michigan Osteopathic Medical Center, Wm. Beaumont Hospital, and Home Health Care. Beverly was a member of Indianwood Golf Club, Huron Breeze Golf Club, and the Sapphire Society. Besides golf, She loved to paint, shop and travel to Florida. Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017, 2 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester. Chaplain Lauren Cousineau officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 am to 2 p.m. Entombment at Guardian Angel Cemetery.
