Betty Ray Fisher-Hardin

Betty was born the daughter of James and Virginia (Gore) Wisner in Detroit, Michigan on December 11, 1934. She graduated High School in 1953 and married Donald Fisher. Betty and Donald raised their family first in Wayne and then in Clinton Township, Michigan. Donald passed in 1985. Betty was remarried to Mitchell Hardin until his passing in 1999.

Betty attended Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Ray, Michigan for many years. She enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her children Don Fisher Jr. and Sandy (Gary) Carter; grandchildren Heather Rodriquez, Don Fisher III, Jennifer (Tony) Boyd, Nicholas (Lori) Carter, Steven (Valentina) Carter, and Katelyn Harris; and many great-grandchildren. Betty is predeceased by her first husband, Don Fisher; second husband, Mitchell Hardin; her parents; and her sister, Frances.

Betty’s family will welcome all to visitation on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 West University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan.
