October 18th, 1992 - October 10th, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved son, brother, friend, and so much more, Anders, at the age of 30. He left us too soon, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Anders was a vibrant and cherished individual who touched the lives of so many. He had a deep love for the great outdoors, spending countless hours fishing alone and with friends. Traveling was another of his great passions, exploring new places, cultures, and savoring every adventure. But above all, Anders had a unique gift for making people laugh and lightening the mood. His humor was infectious, and his laughter was a remedy for tough times. He had a way of bringing joy to any gathering and spreading warmth with his smile. These qualities made Anders a remarkable friend, son, and brother, and they will be cherished forever.
He leaves behind a legacy of unforgettable memories, countless inside jokes, and an unbreakable bond of friendship with many. In honoring his memory, we invite all those whose lives were graced by his presence to share your stories, photos, and favorite memories. Let us come together to celebrate the life he lived and the love he shared.
Anders is survived by his parents, Mike and Lisa and his sisters, Adrienne (Noah) and Allison (Chris). He was a proud graduate of Central Michigan University.
Anders had a heart full of compassion and cared deeply for the well-being of others. In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that those who wish to make a contribution do so to the University of Michigan Brain Tumor Research Fund in his honor. Although effects following brain surgery ultimately ended his life, the care and treatment he received granted us all many more years with Anders. Your generosity will help carry on his legacy of caring for those in need, a tribute that would undoubtedly bring a smile to his face.

Both events will take place at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Drive, Rochester MI, 48307. A portion of the service will be dedicated to friends and family sharing memories and stories. Any story shared, big or small, will be appreciated by the family.
We welcome all friends and family to join us in commemorating the wonderful person he was.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, let us remember the vibrant spirit that was Anders. May his light continue to shine brightly through the stories and memories we share, and through the positive change we make in the world in his memory.
Rest in peace, dear Anders. You will be forever loved, missed, and remembered.
With love and gratitude,
The Reed Family
