AMI ELEANOR MURPHY, age 36 of Rochester Hills, went home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2023. She is survived by her son Coy; husband Dana; brothers Kenny Mendoza, Adam (Emily) Mendoza and Gary Burch; Mother & Father In-law Carol and Jerry Murphy; Ami is mourned by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ami was born on March 12, 1986 in Jasper, Texas, daughter of the late Danny and Terri Mendoza. She was a longtime employee and friend of everyone at The Home Bakery in Rochester.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 620 Romeo Street in Rochester. Rev. Dr. April Gutierrez will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 to 11. A luncheon will be held in Hickey Hall immediately following the funeral.
