Amanda Nicole Adams, of West Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 42. She was born in Lapeer, Michigan on April 17, 1978 and cared for by her loving parents Cynthia Reuther-Adams and William Adams. Amanda attended Rochester High School and was a very proud graduate of Michigan State University. Amanda worked at Purdue University in catering and dining.
Amanda is survived by her parents Cynthia Reuther-Adams and William Adams; children Sara Rose Cogdill 15 and Melanie June Cogdill 14; siblings Nicholas (Mandy) Hanner, Adrian (Jessie) Adams, Christopher Hanner, Amy Hanner, Alexa (Pat) Schloss; nieces and nephews Angel Hanner 22, Kayla Hanner 18, Johnathan Hanner 17, Geneva Adams 13, Calum Adams 12, Liam Adams 10, Noah Hanner 8, Evan Belcourt 12, Bryce Coleman 7, Savanah Coleman 5, Zacary Schloss 12, and Alison Schloss 17; great niece and nephews June Wager 2 and Reece Wager 9 months; grandmother Saundra Stacer; and many aunts and uncles.
Amanda’s visitation will take place on Sunday, January 3rd, from 1 PM to 6 PM at Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 5th, at 12 PM at Guardian Angel Cemetery, 4701 Rochester Rd, Rochester, MI 48306.
