Wilma Prather Richards, 81, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Martin General Hospital. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Martin Memorial Gardens.
She was the daughter of the late Paul and Ava Prather. Wilma was the owner of the T & J Quick Stop in Parmele. On December 30, 1955 she married William Thomas Richards who preceded her in death on March 14, 1999.
Survivors are daughters Patty Richards of Parmele and Debi Van Wagener of Sunset Beach, sons Charles Richards and Thomas Richards both of Parmele, sister Vernie Trantham of Greenville Tennessee, grandchildren Nikki Whitehurst, Tony Richards, and Lynsey Rouse, 4 great grandchildren and 2 “beloved pets” Hank & George.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-8:30 PM at Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville and other times at the residence.
