Joyce, born July 9, 1937 to Myra B and Gordon L Heaps in Salt Lake City, Utah, immediately brought joy and laughter to the world. She graduated from South High School in 1955 where she enjoyed making friends and participating in Pep Club.
Joyce met her husband Robert G. Bingham at church and they were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 26, 1960. They raised their three sons: Rob, Jerry, and Rick in Taylorsville, Utah.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Joyce loved camping, baking, crocheting, painting and getting together with friends and family. She was a skilled bookkeeper but her favorite job was working for Dr. Fred Kotter as a podiatrist assistant.
Throughout her life Joyce was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved people and served in many callings including Stake Sunday School Coordinator, Young Women's Leader and Relief Society President. Bob and Joyce also served a mission at the Kearns Employment Center.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents, her sister Flora, and her son Jerry. She is survived by her husband, her two sons: Rob (Lenor) and Rick (Heather), her ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Jolyn Alder, Lindsay Cox and the caregivers at Atlas Homecare and Hospice for the excellent care they have given Joyce.
