Eric James Knight

Eric was born October 24,1993 to Suzanne Addison and Richard Knight. He married the love of his life, Jayslynn Adams on October 19, 2019.

Eric was the type to give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He was always telling jokes to make someone smile, laugh or lighten the mood. He had a love for working on cars no matter the time or weather. He was always joking that he was a “youtube certified mechanic”. He enjoyed video games and loving on his puppies. He was always there to listen and give his opinion whether you wanted to hear it or not!

He is survived by his wife (Jayslynn Knight), his mother (Suzanne Addison), bonus parents, siblings, bonus brother (Romeo Riojas), his godson (Enzo Riojas), many nieces, nephews, many aunts and uncles and cousins and friends. He was welcomed home by his grandmother Carolyn, his cousin David and his father Richard, his godmothers and his boys Chico and Snoopy.

Eric loved telling his terrible dad jokes even if it was only to lighten the mood or crack a smile on someone’s face, so we felt it was only appropriate to include it here. “How do you make a tissue dance?” - “You put a little boogy in it.” He was taken to soon. We hope he’s in paradise up there causing havoc!! He impacted a lot of people's lives and will be incredibly missed.

The viewing and funeral services will be held on July 7, 2023 at the church located at 8060 South 615 East, Sandy, Utah. The viewing will start 9:45-10:45 with services to follow. Eric will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Park at 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah

A balloon release will be held at the end of the grave ceremony to share your final love, thoughts and goodbyes to Eric.
