Vivian a long time resident of Riverside, CA. passed away March 31, 2011 at the age of 81, from pancreatic cancer. She was born December 14, 1929 to Flavio and Henrietta Verdugo. Vivian graduated from Corona High School in 1948. She married the love of her life Norman R. Avery on March 28, 1959.
Vivian worked at SH Kress, Automobile Club of So. CA. and worked/retired after a 30 year career with Harris' department store. Vivian enjoyed baking, gardening, and camping. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and grand children and attending there activities and family gatherings.
Vivian is survived by her husband Norman Avery of 52 years, a brother Paul and wife Gayle Verdugo, 4 children Sharon Christiansen of La Quinta, CA., David Avery of Spanish Fork, UT., Julie Avery of Riverside, CA., Sandy and husband Lyle Shapiro of Huntington Beach, CA. and 7 grand children Jeremy, Holly, Kaylee and Kellsey Avery, Adrian Anguiano, Chad and Karlee Christiansen.
Visitation on Thursday, April 14, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Funeral Services on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. both at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary. Burial to follow after service at Riverside National Cemetery Staging area #4. Flowers are welcome or family suggests memorial contributions to the John W.
