Theresa Ann Reed

Theresa died peacefully at home on June 15, 2011, after a courageous 5yr battle with cancer. She was born in Denver, CO to Rose & Wallace Abbey on April 26, 1932. She moved to Riverside, California with her mother Rose and step-father Louis Steinmetz when she was 11yrs old. She graduated from the old Poly High School in 1951 and later married Earl D. Reed on May 5, 1956. She is survived by her 5 children: Lori Morris (Peter), Stephanie Meador (Sam), Earl Reed (Nichole), Tony Reed (Amy), Danny Reed (Tonya); 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Theresa was very active in St. Catherine\'s Catholic Parish in both the choir and as a volunteer in the Ministry Center. She retired from The Harris Company in 1995 after 31 years. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her, and will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 21, from 5-8pm at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary. Mass will be on Wed. June 22 at 10am at St. Catherine\'s Catholic Church at 3680 Arlington Ave. Burial will follow at Riverside National Cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all who have helped her with her final journey into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
