It was a beautiful service for a beautiful women. 

She was one of my preschool teachers. I remember going to chapel with her on Wednesdays and sitting on the floor of the church. As I grew and moved on to each new grade, she continued to encourage me and nurture my faith. She gave the BEST hugs, they were all encompassing. I will always remember the way she fully embraced me when we hugged. She was so warm, her smile stretched across her face and her eyes twinkled so brightly. This is how I will always remember her. ❤️

I met Sue & Dave (the names they always used in correspondence) through my parents beginning April 1987 but, it wasn’t until June 1st 1987 in the maternity ward at San Bernardino Community Hospital that I was able to finally meet in person, they brought me a beautiful flower arrangement with a very touching card (which I still have after all the years), the beautiful angels God had sent in the most difficult time in my life.  After the adoption was finalized Sue & Dave had no obligation to me, legal or otherwise however, that’s not who she was.  Sue made sure to send me photos accompanied by handwritten updates EVERY year.  Along with the very first update she included a beautiful photo album with extra pages explaining that way I could add photos from future updates.  I do not have the words to express the pure love I will always carry in my heart for Sue or the immense gratitude I have always carried because she selflessly shared HER child, James, with me.  I am always going to love you Sue.  You’ll never be far from my thoughts.

I remember when I was very very little and she put up this fake spider web and spider decoration for Halloween and she would move the spider on the web randomly every day and tell me, " look it's moved ohhh scary watch out now " I miss you mom Soo much you were are anchor and now I feel lost
