Steve was born August 1, 1938 in Portland, Maine to Cecil and Nancy Minervino Day.
He is survived by his siblings, Tom (Diane) Day, Gloria (Bill) Milks, Gary (Lisa) Day, Richard (Patty) Day; children, Stephen Jr. (Cindy) Day, Lorrie (Steve) Liebsack, David (Irene) Day: former spouse, Grace Day; grandchildren, Andrea (Marcus) Schroeder, Garrett (Stacy) Day, Tyler and Stephanie Liebsack, Davis, Paulina and Jennifer Day; great-grandchildren, Landon, Rylan, Hudson and Cambria Day, Braden and Brooklyn Schroeder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Stephen worked in the construction industry for over 50 years.
He was a member of New Life Church in Moreno Valley. He won many awards in football and baseball and took much pride in coaching youth baseball for over 30 years. He was also an avid Raiders and Angels fan. He lived life to the fullest with love and affection to everyone around him. He expressed love to everyone he met.
