He was born in Fullerton, California on September 1, 1961. Robert graduated from Norco High School in 1979.
He was married to Christine La Verne Hicks on July 19, 1985. Robert was the President and CEO of Total Transportation Logistics.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge, 1199 Foundation CHP Lifetime member, a Kentucky Colonel, and a Member of the Eisenhower Commission. He was also the 2005 City of Norco Man of the Year.
Robert was on countless committees and donated to many organizations. He was heavily involved with his City and the CHiPs for Kids Charity. He took pride in helping those in need and making sure that the people around him never went without.
He had a passion for classic cars and car shows. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family and friends. He was a great family man. He enjoyed taking his grandchildren for cruises in his hot rods.
He was survived by his children, Chrystal Marie Foster and Robert Lee Hicks; His Grandchildren, Ronald Quinn Foster, Stella Christine Foster, Abilene Marie Ballejos, Sophia Marie Hicks and Robert Edward Hicks; His siblings, Wanda Crowson, Deborah Adair, Patricia Cruz and Frederick Meredith.
Robert will be cremated, and the family will celebrate his life on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Nellie Weaver Hall from 1pm-5pm.
In lieu of flowers for the ceremony, we ask that you please bring a new, unwrapped toys/s for a child 0-16 years old to be donated to Robert’s favorite charity, CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive.
