Richard "El Foo" Rico

Richard Rico was the first born child to Ricardo and Gloria. He was born in Artesia on January 4, 1984. He then was raised in Riverside, CA where he met Melissa Najera in 2003, and had two beautiful children Adrian and Lauren. He was our beloved son, brother, father, and friend who was loved by everyone he met. He worked in the family business for 14 years, and in 2015 he started is own business, which he was so excited and proud of what he had accomplished. The greatest memory that people hold so dear to them is his beautiful smile and his loving personality. Each person will always have a special place in their hearts for him. Erika, his sister, will always remember pulling into his driveway, and if she didn't have Audrey, which is his niece, he would tell Erika "Oh well ,nobody wants you, go get her ". Richard's smile will forever be in our hearts.

Richard and Melissa began as a close friendship that bloomed into love. They were inseparable. The day they found out they were having their first baby changed their lives. Richard was so excited to be a father, that's all he ever wanted. Being with his family brought out the best in him. When he found out they were having another child, his world changed again and his family was complete. All he wanted was to be the best father, and that he was. Richard was loved by so many people, and never could say no. If you asked for a favor he was always there to lend a helping hand. He touched so many lives. We are left with the memory of a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. He will always be in our hearts, and his memory will never be forgotten.
