Reona Carol Boothby

Reona Carol Boothby passed away on February 25, 2016 in San Diego, CA. Carol was born in Weston, WV in 1929, the fourth child of Doy and Clara Payne, both deceased. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold A. Stone and husband Charles M. Boothby. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Regina Sloss of Warren, OH and brothers Charles Payne and Ralph Payne of WV. Carol is survived by her daughters Jean Ann Abosamra of San Diego, CA and Glenda Emory of Gig Harbor, WA, sons-in-law Alex Abosamra and Doug Emory, and by her granddaughters Jacqueline and Ava Emory. She is also survived by her step-children Robert Boothby of Riverside, CA, Larry Boothby of Chehalis, WA, Calvin Boothby of Riverside, CA, Linda Palmer of Salt Lake City, UT, Michael Boothby of Riverside, CA and grandchildren Shannon Godlewski, Kirk Boothby (deceased), Nicole Friend, Shauna Carriere, Randall James, Aaron Boothby, Brittany Boothby and Cody Boothby. Services will be held on March 10 at 11:00am at her church home for over fifty years, First United Methodist Church of Riverside, 4845 Brockton Ave, Riverside, CA 92506. Should friends desire, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, First United Methodist Church of Riverside Woman’s Group, or the charity of your choice.
