I remember when we made Saturday our Boxing Night...I enjoyed getting all frustrated at the tv...and you would just allow me to. Your patience was something that I always admired about you and strive, without success to emulate. You always made me feel welcome and part of the family.  Thank you so much for the legacy you left behind. You left a void that will not be able to be filled. I love you and will see you again when we meet in heaven.

i remember how grandpa was a jack of all trades. he would fix anything or make us almost anything we wanted. he was the funniest man even when you didn’t really wanna laugh he found a way to make you laugh. he’d always ask me if i wanted a knuckle sandwich because i said  i was hungry, or tell me that he saw me and my “boyfriend”. he also taught me to be a fighter and to always fight for what you wanted. as much as how none of us wanted to see him leave yet, we all know that he is happy now with god. he’s not in pain anymore, and he can fish and play with his birds as much as he wants. god has a new handyman. i love you grandpa and i’ll see you later. 

Grandpa I love you and will miss you very much. I will always remember when I would say I was hungry you would ask me if I wanted a knuckle sandwich? You would also always tell us to never give up.  You’d joke with me when I had a crush and would tell me that my “boyfriend “ would come and pick me up on a scooter. You came to my dance recitals and events at school. Whenever we had a fundraiser or I was selling Girl Scout cookies you were always the biggest supporter and made sure I reached my goal. Thank you grandpa for being the best. I love you forever!

I love you grandpa. Thank you for teaching me baseball and giving me a fish. You gave me the best 10 years of my life you ,came to all 10 birthday's , you brought me to the showmeat(swap meat) ,made us knuckle sandwiches and came to all my baseball games and we fist bumbs very day I came to visit I LOVE U GRANDPA!

Grandpa,
I love you. I have countless memories with you. You truly are my day one you literally were in the delivery room when I entered this world and let me know because of that I was special to you. You were there for me always. I could count on you for anything and everything. Even when you didn’t feel your best you’d do as much as you could and you got to see me graduate even though you didn’t feel well you supported me like always. And you knew everything and if there was something you didn’t know you’d do your research and figure it out. From cars, to handyman stuff, to sports, to fish, to birds, to dogs, to cats, to basically any animal, to finding the best tv and electronics, to knowing how to treat people with respect, and loving my grandma endlessly you knew it all. You were my soccer coach more than once and we won the championship one season all because of your guidance. Although you’d make me be out on the field an hour before practice to ensure that we get the best spot and you’d make me do laps for talking too much that’s why you were the best because you wanted me to be my best. You were such a huge part of my life and the best role model. I love you peepaw and will miss you.

Grandpa I love you so much! You were the man who taught me how to ride a bike, fix the brakes on my car (even though they were fine I just had the parking brake up the whole time), but most importantly you taught me how to love unconditionally. 

I miss you so much Grandpa I wish I could just go fishing with you one last time. Or go to the bird farm with you. Or even watch Law & Order and see you half asleep from time to time.

Anytime there was a pay per view fight, I looked so forward to watching it with you! We would talk throughout the match about the fighters, their approach, their sklls, etc... and at some point, we would always end up chatting about all the great old school fighters we grew  up watching. I will truly miss that. I will miss you Ramon. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

However, you forgot one, how to live without you, how to navigate a world without you in it... I believe that the measure of a man is not in his earthly possessions, but in the legacy he leaves behind for his family... Well Papi, you leave behind an EXTRAORDINARY one, one of a good man, a Great man! No one could ever measure up to you, you were generous,  kind,  loyal,  honest and dependable, a man of his word... You worked hard & Loved us with your whole heart and would do anything to see us Happy... You gave us the BEST life and I am completely heartbroken and sad to know that I will no longer see you here on earth, but find comfort in knowing I will see you again one day in Heaven and  find Peace knowing you are no longer in pain and are now in the arms of Jesus... I miss you Papi more than I could ever put into words, this pain that I feel is indescribable, the void that your passing leaves at times makes me feel as though I can not breath, but even during this time of grief, I know that with time, I will eventually be ok... I like many, will never forget our fishing days, you always told me I was a natural. I will miss seeing you at the family gatherings and telling me silly things about my mom and making fun of her.
