Peter G. Trevino

PETER GABRIEL TREVINO Age 89, resident of Riverside, CA for 39 years, passed away 9/05/2010 due to advanced alzheimers, at Autumn Hill Residential Care Facility in Riverside. Peter was born 12/08/1920 in Minitare, Nebraska. He retired from the State of California, Dept. of Corrections after 30 years of service. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army for 22 years, where he received the Good Conduct, Bronze Star and Victory medals. He earned his Bachelor of Science at Loma Linda University and received a citation for President Kennedy\'s Inauguration. Peter is survived by his daughter-in-law, Jean Trevino; granddaughter, Lauren Kathleen Trevino; son, Peter T. Trevino; grandson, Garrett Peter Trevino. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ilse. Visitation 09/13/10 from 5-8pm with Funeral on 9/14/10 at 10:30am, both at Acheson & Graham Mortuary. Burial to follow funeral at Riverside National cemetery, 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Alzheimer\'s Association.
