Nancy Lillian Elrod

Nancy Lillian Elrod, 74, of Norco, California, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Riverside, California surrounded by family. She was born on March 5, 1944 in Newark, Ohio to parents, Paul Maidel Sr. and Lillian Irene Williams. She was the middle child of five children. In her early teens the family made their way out to the west coast where Nancy enjoyed surfing, music, dancing and horses. She graduated high school with high honors.

She cherished her husband, Roy and loved nothing more in life than being a mother. She always made life fun for her children. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star for many years. She enjoyed training horses and dogs. She adored riding her beloved horse, Maggie, as well as painting and line dancing. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved to spoil them any chance she had.

She is survived by her siblings, Phillip, Paul, and Pamela; her children Jimmy, Laurie, Lisa and Dennis; and her grandchildren Adam Ivy and Cerene.
