Mary Garcia Wolcott Born June 5, 1925 Died May 17, 2015 As a young girl, Mary was picked as a companion out of 450 people interviewed for a family in Great Neck, Long Island. She received a visa and came to America from her home land of Cuba in 1949. Later Mary met Charles William Wolcott at the Boxer "Kid Gavilans" party two weeks later they were married, September 13, 1951 In New York. Then off to California where they started a nursery/landscape company El Camino Nursery. She landscaped the "El Mirador Hotel" and the trees that lined palm avenue in Palm Springs , even Crestlawn Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest.Mary was also famous for her topiaries.On February 16, 1973 Mary was most proud to become an American citizen. Mary leaves behind four children, Arlene, Charles Henry, Dianne and Gary. 4 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Great Grandchild. Rest In Peace Our Beloved Mother..
