Maria M. Heredia

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Maria Mercedes Heredia, 79, of Riverside County, on April 6, 2025. Maria was born in Jalisco, MX on September 24, 1945 to Juan and Maria Mora Ramos. Maria was a devoted wife and mother. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio and survived by their children Alma Alicia, Maria, and Ernesto; siblings Senorina, Manuel, and Francisca. Maria was also a cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Maria’s heart was always full of love for her family, including her greatly loved pet companions who brought endless smiles. Maria was a devout Catholic and found solace and strength in her faith. Known for her remarkable grace, her absence will be felt. Maria’s welcoming spirit and genuine desire to help and care for others will leave a lasting legacy of kindness and generosity. We will always carry your memory in our hearts. May the Lord be with Maria on her journey to eternal life.

A visitation for Maria will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. A funeral service will occur Friday, April 25, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 4268 Lime St, Riverside, CA 92501. A committal service will occur Friday, April 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Ave, Riverside, CA 92506.
