Linda Marie Lopez

Linda Marie Lopez (Jaimez), 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept 13, 2021, in the hands of her husband, surrounded by her family, at their home in Riverside, CA. Linda was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 55 causing her to retire early. She worked as a Kindergarten teacher and an ESL tutor to her students and their parents at Home Gardens Elementary School. Education was Linda's passion, not only as a career but for her own self fulfillment. She graduated from Norco High School in 1971, RCC in 1982, and Cal State Fullerton in 1985. At the time of her onset, she was working on her Master's degree, but sadly, she missed graduation by 2 classes.

Linda loved spending time with her family and going on vacation. She was patient, soft spoken and generous with her kindness towards everyone she encountered. She had a funny side that always kept you in suspense, wondering what she was going to say next. Linda was also adventurous, her sense of directions always left room for an adventure while she drove the "scenic route". Linda was happily married to Albert Lopez who was her partner in life for 51 years upon her departure to heaven. Together they had 3 children, Steven Lopez, Lynal (Jesse)Herrera and Leslie (Craig)Robson, which in turn, resulted in 8 grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband, 3 children and grandchildren,

Alexa, Jacob, Nicholas, Steven, Jesse, Bradley, Nathan, and Brooklyn. Her siblings, Amalia Stearns, Dorothy Nieto, Alfred Jaimez, Debra Tyner and Catherine Martinez. She will be missed by all but will remain in our hearts forever.

A visitation for Linda will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518.
