Lee Roy graduated from Centralia High School in 1948.
He had a younger brother named Dutch and two younger sisters, Betty and Bonnie. Betty is no longer with us.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Chloeta.
Mr. Wilkerson is survived by his children: Daughter Karen Howland of Bend, Oregon, daughter Sandra Wilczynski, of Norwalk, California, son Randall Wilkerson of Centralia, Missouri and son Garey Wilkerson of Norwalk, California.

Lee Roy also leaves behind his grandchildren: Amber, Beverly, Edward, Travis, Taylor, Justus, Amanda and Randy, along with his great-grandchildren Brendan, Dillon, Tristan, Cheyenne, Savannah, Calie, Kyden, Louis, David and Andrew.
After high school, Private First Class Wilkerson proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and spent two years in Japan. He received the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal
Lee Roy was an honest, hardworking man. He made a promise to his bride, Chloeta, when they were married on April 6th, 1957, that he would do whatever he could so she could stay home and not have to work. He kept his promise.
He worked for 35 years as a fork lift operator and supervisor for Lakewood Pipe and Supply in Bellflower, California. On weekends he was a valet attendant and parked cars at the Sycamore Inn in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
