I love Ken; he's my mensch; my best friend from back when DEVO first hit. I'm devastated by this loss, frustrated that I can't be there with his family, or help, or share the pain. The time I spent with Ken was always educational, fun, funny and casual. He could always do things a bit better than me; except skating. His influence is always there, despite me being in Tokyo. He is in lessons that I teach my students: How to just get things done whether you know how or not. How to apply that experience to other situations. How to see humor in frustration. I have kindergarten students who ring out, 'flat on the road!' when I tell them to stay out of the street, and 'spare parts dog', for when you don't. Being so far away, I've been living with his memory for years, which softens the blow. And I feel guilty; petty. I selfishly wish for ignorance. The friendship with Ken, for me, is deep; irreplaceable. Nobody is even a close 2nd. I'm sorry, I can't say goodbye, my dearest friend.

This scan is from the 1979 Bandorama program, and brings back great memories of our senior year at Glendora. We spent a lot of time together as pipers and just hanging around. You had a car, I didn’t so I was often riding shotgun in your little Honda coupe. As pipers we played with the band and on other gigs including the Mr. Glendora pageant and that car show at the Queen Mary we never got paid for. The trip to NorCal was epic, riding the auxiliary bus with so many great people. This was all long ago but I remember Ken, and I remember you. And you will be missed.

I worked at AB for more years than I can remember.  In that period of time you see so many people come through that revolving door you tend to remember many and forget some others. Even though I only worked with Kenney he left a lasting impression with me that I will not forget. It was a pleasure to have worked with him, to have known him, and to have shared a laugh or two with him. My sincere condolences to the Braden family and their friends for your loss, that is an unfillable void. You are forever in my families hearts.

To say that Ken was a good man with an extremely kind soul would be a gross understatement. I worked with Ken at AB when I was very young, and I will never forget the support & encouragement I felt every time I was in the presence of Ken and Susan. The amount of love and dedication that Ken had for his family was unmatched, and he expressed that in nearly every conversation. He made such an impact on me and so many people that he came in contact with. Thank you to his beautiful wife, children, grandkids, family and friends  for sharing him with the world.  

I knew Ken and Sue when they started dating and got married and had their kids,I am a long time friend of the Hammon Family since late 70's
I saw the Love and friendship they both had for each other. Ken was a wonderful husband and father and provider and I can see in his pictures how much he loved them grandbabies. He will be greatly missed and I am sincerely sorry for your loss. 
Sue,all them memories you and Ken made all them years together are always with you in your heart ❤️ forever and no one can never take them from you ! Know I Love and think of you always and God willing I plan to come to Riverside soon and will come see you. I'm always here for you ☺️

I only worked with Ken a short time at AB Riverside. When I say worked with, we may have been in totally different departments within the same company but he always made me feel like I was apart of the warehouse crew when I was out there.
He had a fantastic sense of humor and after first meeting him I thought he was crazy, but the food kind of crazy.
He is going to be missed by so many people. 
My thoughts are with the Braden family in their time of grieving.

Glamis is never going to be the same without Kenny. I worked with Ken for about 16 years and he introduced me to a great group of friends that we camped with for 6-8 years together. I have few pictures but so many memories I’m going to miss you buddy. My deepest condolences to Kenny’s family

Ken was a good man and a friend to many, always willing to reach out and be helpful to others. He will be missed. Deepest Condolences to his family.

 I am so sorry for your loss. Ken was always a great man.He was always so nice, helpful  and so dang funny.  I will keep the family in my prayers and I wish  you peace, comfort, and healing at this difficult time. He will be greatly missed. 

Ken has been a wonderful neighbor, always helping out anyone who needed his advise.   Always busy,  finding something fun or helpful to do. He was a good provider and a hard worker. He sure loved all his grandbabies, and the life he and Sue created together. He will be missed by so many. May happy memories of his smile live on.

My Dad loved his Grandchildren with everything he had. The day in this picture he spent a long time just playing with the kids while camping at Rancho Jurupa. The smiles and laughter I will never forget.
