Karen Schneebeli Curp, daughter of Peggy Ann Schneebeli and the late Richard James Schneebeli, was born June 11, 1955 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. She attended elementary and secondary schools(Manheim Township High School) in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and moved to California in her twenties where she served as a civil servant for the United States Navy in Norco, California for over 25 years. In 2019, she received her Bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University in Business Administration.
Karen is survived by her husband Kenneth Alan Curp, her children Amanda Michelle Wade and Andrew Stephen Curp (wife Erika Curp), two grandchildren Carra Evelyn Cole and Richard Allen Curp and her mother Peggy Ann Schneebeli.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends whom she called family, going to the beach and the river, walking her dog Bingo with her closest friends, going on motorcycle rides with her husband, traveling to new places, trying new and exciting foods, listening to a variety of music, and playing games with her friends and family.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Friday March 13, 2020 at 1:00pm in the Memorial Chapel at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary with a graveside internment to follow.
