Josephine (Joyce) was born to Joseph and Tillie Giardina on October 1st, 1936 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Joyce attended Wisconsin Academy where she met John Parker, her love and life companion. The couple married on July 17, 1955 and relocated to Riverside California where she worked as a secretary in the Riverside Unified School District. In 1999, Joyce retired after twenty nine years of devoted service to the students, faculty, and staff at Central Middle School.
Joyce had a passion for traveling, exercising, spending time outdoors and with her family. Joyce was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will forever be remembered by her three children, Dana Nordbeck, John Parker, Scott Parker, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Joyce passed from life on earth on December 10th, 2013 to join her beloved husband and precious daughter, Deborah Boyd in heaven.
