On Sunday July 2, 2023 Joey was coming home from his girlfriends birthday party with his Aunt and they were in a tragic accident on the freeway. His Aunt Kelly passed at the scene and Joey had major head trauma and many other injuries. Sadly to say, he was taken off of life support July 6 to go be with the lord.

Joey was a beautiful bright kid with his whole future in front of him. He had just graduated with multiple honors and had just enrolled at Cal State Fullerton for fall classes. He worked very hard to get himself a scholarship for college. He has always been a good student and such a happy kid and a wonderful son. He helped his Mom a lot and everyone around him. He truly was one of a kind and a very caring, gentle soul and was so excited for his bright future in front of him before this sudden tragic accident. We are asking for help to give Joey the proper burial that he so deserves. This happened so sudden that the family is not prepared to be able to do all that they need to do and what he deserves.
