Jose Y Heredia, age 103, of Riverside, California passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Jose was born in Durango, Mexico to Manuel and Manuela, his parents. From an early age, he had ambitions of having his very own Tortilleria. Eventually in his career path, he became a Citrus Agriculture Laborer. Jose was very proud of his career; this allowed him to learn about agriculture and gain new hobbies that he enjoyed such as, gardening and mechanics. He loved to hear about animal stories and watch wrestling. He also loved fruits and his favorite colors were red and blue. Throughout the years; his family began with his parents and his eleven siblings. Jose had an abundant amount of love and support from his large family. Eventually expanding on to the family; he had married his wife, Victoria, and had his very own children. He had a total of four children Patricia, Martina, Francisco, and Guadalupe. He worked very hard and was extremely proud to be able to buy his family a home on Merrill St. Jose's hope was for his family to learn how to have self-care and to take of others as well. He would like to be remembered as not giving up. Jose was once a child with goals, and he worked hard throughout his life to accomplish those goals. He never gave up.
